We provided financial advisory services for the two major German companies that merged their interest in Romania for setting up the chain of hypermarkets SELGROS Cash & Carry starting with January 1999.
Initially, SvWP provided legal, financial, accounting, and marketing assistance for starting the operations in Romania, followed by designing the development strategy for setting up a network of 8 cash & carry hypermarkets in the cities of Bucharest (2 outlets), Brasov, Galati, Constanta and Craiova. The business development strategy accounted for an investment plan of EURO 120 MM over a period of 36 to 48 months. We have also provided the legal and logistic support to implement the development plan.
