In the context of 20 Romanian vessels arrested in various harbours around the world, the national Romanian Maritime Shipping Company - Navrom - contacted SvWP to obtain the release of two of the ships retained in Durban, South Africa.

SvWP’s legal diligences proved to be successful and the ships have been released.

As a result of this positive outcome, SvWP was appointed Legal Advisor of NAVROM and, in a few weeks’ time, it became Legal Advisor of the Shipping Transport Department within the Ministry of Transport, as well as the Chief Counsel for the Industry and Services Committee of the Romanian Parliament.
